After studying for a BA in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Brighton, Anna worked in customer service roles before making the decision to train to be a primary school teacher. Motivated by a vision to work towards ending educational inequality, she joined the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and simultaneously studied for her teaching qualification at the UCL Institute of Education, whilst also teaching in year 3. Anna went on to teach in primary schools for 5 years, during which she also took on middle leadership responsibilities.
Anna joined Team Up in October 2023, eager to make an even wider contribution to the fight against educational inequality.
