Coronavirus is having a significant impact, with schools closing this Friday.
Earlier this week, following Government advice, we cancelled what would have in most cases been the last tutor teaching sessions of term.
Programme Managers have been going into schools to facilitate pupil progress assessments a week earlier than they would otherwise have happened. Where this isn't possible we have shared the assessment link for pupils to complete at home.
Our team will mark assessments and provide detailed individual written feedback for all pupils who complete them. We will also be asking tutors for individual feedback on their pupils, and sending personalised links to videos, websites and resources to all pupils on our programmes this term to support them to continue making progress while schools are closed. We will be reporting fully to schools the the data and information we can gather.
We have emphasised our priority is to support pupils while keeping them and the volunteers we work with, safe.
