Mehreen studied History of Art/Archaeology and the Study of Religions at SOAS, where she also supported widening participation as a student ambassador. After graduating, Mehreen travelled, taught English, completed a Master’s in Contemporary History and Politics, and wrote articles- gaining a deep appreciation for how education connects and empowers people across cultures. She later completed a PGCE in Religious Studies at the Institute of Education and spent seven years teaching in Southampton, where she also served as Lead Teacher of R.E.
For Mehreen, education has always been life-changing- it builds confidence, sparks curiosity, and helps people see new possibilities for themselves. That’s why she is so committed to making it accessible to every learner, especially those who might not always feel seen or included.
