Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic girls’ school that was graded outstanding by Ofsted in 2013 and was commended for the excellent pastoral care that is given to all students. The quality of teaching was also praised in the report. The area of New Malden has one of the most dense concentrations of Koreans outside of Korea, said to be linked to the residence of the former South Korean ambassador to London being in the area. As a result, the area has numerous Korean churches, cafes and supermarkets which cater to the needs of the local population.
