Free maths tuition changed Natasha’s life when she was 14 years old.
In her own words, ‘When people ask me what life was like at school, my first thought goes to the kindness my maths teacher showed me by offering extra tuition after school. I was 14 years old, on free school meals, with an interest in maths and what I gained was a seed of a career in finance. With extra tuition I excelled in maths, my confidence grew, and I became the first in my family to attend university gaining a degree in Accounting and Finance and carving out a 20 year career in finance.’
In the last five years, Natasha has moved into wider leadership roles and has worked in finance, recruitment and fundraising in the charity sector before taking up the position of Team Up CEO
