Queensmead is a forward looking and dynamic co-educational academy that welcomes students of all abilities. Rated as outstanding by Ofsted in 2008, 78% of pupils achieved A* to C in English and Maths, significantly above national averages. Alongside their curriculum, students receive a wide range of extracurricular activities, including a busy sports and performing arts programme. Queensmead is committed to the personal development of its pupils and run a number of initiatives that help students play active roles in the local, national and international community. Recent projects have included working with campaigns that inspire women in sports and a summer scholarship initiative that enables students to volunteer in developing countries.
