Education is a pivotal opportunity in everyone’s life as we get to learn and identify our skill sets that will allow us to grow and attain success in this world.
I moved to the UK from Zimbabwe, and I had the privilege to further expand my education knowing it will not be a burden for my mother to pay for my university degree. From there, I knew my vision one day of helping children not only in Africa but around the world to achieve their education qualifications will come to fruition. The history of Team Up and its mission is the reason why I was interested to be part of the team and to make a positive impact in the lives of the younger generation.
I gained a BA (Hons) in Accounting with Business in 2014 from the University of Hertfordshire, a part qualified CIMA student, on track to qualify this year and I am a Financial Controller for a fraud prevention and payments solutions company.
