Chief Operating Officer
Megan joined Team Up in April 2014 - in her role as Chief Operating Officer, she oversees and implements strategies for ensuring all Team Up’s stakeholders have a successful experience on the programme, as well as managing the Programme team.
Megan is a Teach First alumnus, having served as Head of Citizenship at Aylward Academy, a comprehensive school in North London. After completing Teach First, Megan joined Amnesty International to lead their teacher training programme, conducting a strategic review of how the organisation equipped teachers to effectively teach human rights.
Megan began her career as a consultant with a boutique firm specialising in the creation and implementation of leadership development programmes for major corporates such as KPMG and HSBC. She brings a wide array of strategic, consulting and third sector experience to her work at Team Up. Her most recent role was as Director of Football v Homophobia, the world’s foremost campaign to tackle homophobia in football, and she has also served in consulting roles at the New Economics Foundation, the European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation, and Rosa, a UK charity providing funds for projects working with women and girls.
Megan has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, and in 2013 also completed an MSc in Gender at LSE.
